Before we went to see Pauline, our daughter C was taking 90 minutes at a time to breastfeed, and her latch was very painful for me.
She was colicky, miserable and unsettled - and we were at the end of our tether. Pauline came to see us and quickly diagnosed C as having a tongue tie. She left us with a clear plan to manage while we waited for the frenotomy the following week - and we saw almost immediate results.
After the tongue tie, Pauline was so available and supportive, ringing me up on a Saturday evening when I was panicking about our daughter's feeding and weight gain. Our baby daughter is now six months old, and has been exclusively breastfeeding for most of that time, which is a milestone I never thought we'd reach. She's a happy, giggly girl, and we're loving being her parents, a total transformation from those miserable early weeks.
