May 2025 … I was tired and disheartened….

We went to Pauline when my son was two weeks old having been advised that he might have a tongue tie. Prior to our appointment, breastfeeding was painful and some feeds were lasting over an hour. I was tired, sore and disheartened.

She examined our son and confirmed that he had a tongue tie. The procedure was performed quickly and my baby fed straight after. I could immediately tell the difference in how he fed.

Pauline was quick and efficient, yet she also took her time to explain things to us. We felt as if we were making an informed decision about our son's care, and we learnt a lot about breastfeeding techniques which helped greatly.

She also even spotted that I was not well as I had developed mastitis the night before. She gave me practical advice on the causes and showed me how to deal with it, as well as how to prevent it from reoccurring. She shows genuine care and is passionate about helping babies and their mums.

We came away from the appointment feeling both relieved and positive. That was 3 weeks ago, and since then our life has improved massively. My baby now latches quickly and our feeds are much shorter. I am no longer in pain and I'm now enjoying spending time breastfeeding.

I just want to say thank you so much Pauline, you've made such a huge difference to our family. I can confidently say that I would not be breastfeeding today if I hadn't come to you.
